Jovanna Briscoe

Jovanna Briscoe (27) has been working in Hospitality for 10 years! Originally from Long Island, NY she worked at a small neighborhood restaurant, while pursuing a degree in Studio Art at CUNY Hunter College in New York City.. She moved to Los Angeles in 2021 to pursue her painting career, while also working as a waitress in Santa Monica. From there, Jovanna studied beverage and wine intensely as assistant to the sommelier at Little Prince in Santa Monica and aided in the education of staff. She then went on to become the assistant wine director and sommelier at Isla, where she curated an eclectic, yet elegant list of California produced wines. She now is a sales consultant for Alluvial Wines & Spirits, working with accounts shops and restaurants across Los Angeles County.
